Üç boyutlu estetik biçimler oluÅŸturmayı amaçlayan heykel sanatında, teknik, malzeme, estetik anlayış ve mesaj içeriÄŸi
bakımından büyük deÄŸiÅŸim ve geliÅŸim yaÅŸanmış, gerek form gerek çevre- heykel iliÅŸkisi bakımından ,büyük bir ivme ve
çaÄŸdaÅŸlık anlayışı içine girilmiÅŸtir.
Teknoloji çağının sanata etkisi doÄŸrultusunda, sanatçı duygu, düÅŸünce ve estetik anlayışını, belli kalıp ve kurallar olmaksızın,
malzeme üzerinde uygulayarak dışa vurmuÅŸtur.
Ä°nsan duygusunun sanatla dışa vurumunu, Ulu Önder Atatürk’ün, “Sanatsız kalan bir milletin hayat damarlarından biri kopmuÅŸ
demektir” sözü, açıkça ortaya koymaktadır.Bu söz ayrıca, sanatın medeniyetlerin ayakta kalabilmesi ve devam edebilmesi için
gerekli üç sac ayağından biri olduÄŸunu, bilim ve teknoloji ile birlikte medeniyetin olmazsa olmazlarından sayıldığını, insan için
ne denli büyük önem arz ettiÄŸini de ortaya koymaktadır.
Sanatın önemli bir dalı olan heykel, Üniversitemiz Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi Heykel Bölümü’nün yoÄŸun ve baÅŸarılı aktiviteleriyle
bölgemiz ve ülke çapında tanınan, sevilen ve yaÅŸatılan bir sanat dalı olmuÅŸtur.Üniversitemizin deÄŸerli ÖÄŸretim üyesi Doç.Dr.
Mustafa BULAT ve O’nun yetiÅŸtirdiÄŸi heykeltıraÅŸların yaptığı sanatsal faaliyetler, Üniversitemizin heykel sanatı alanında ulusal ve
uluslararası düzeyde tanınan ve deÄŸer gören bir üniversite olmasını saÄŸlamıştır.
ÇaÄŸdaÅŸ heykelin temel anlayışı içerisinde eserler üreten ve alanında çok sayıda esere imza atan,Ulusal ve Uluslararası düzeyde
pek çok kiÅŸisel ve karma sergisiyle, katıldığı sempozyumlarla, yaptığı anıt heykel projeleriyle büyük baÅŸarılara imza atan Doç.
Dr. Mustafa BULAT’a baÅŸarılı çalışmalarının devamını dilerim.

The art of sculpture aiming at three-dimensional aesthetical styles, in parallel with the course of change and evolution of
the history of human beings, has experienced a change in terms of technic, equipment, aesthetical concept and involving
message and not only form but also in view of the relationship of environment-sculpture, an enormous acceleration and
contemporary understanding are engaged in.
In accordance with the impact of the technological era on the art, the artist expresses his feeling, thought and aesthetical
concept by performing on the materials without certain patterns and rules.
The expression of human feelings with the art, the Great Leader Atatürk’s note titled” A nation without its art, would mean that
its lifeline is severed” clearly shows. This saying also shows that the art is one of the three necessary plates to survive and
maintain the civilizations, has been counted as the indispensable parts of the civilizations along with science and technology
and has a precious importance for the human beings.
The sculpture, one of the most important branches of art, has become a known, popular and alive art in our region and
nationwide with the activities of Faculty of Fine Arts of Our University. Our dear lecturer, Associate Professor Mustafa BULAT
and his training sculptors’ artistic activities have provided our university in the field of sculpture with the known and valued
prestige in the nationwide and international level.
I wish him success to Mustafa BULAT for his valuable works of art producing in the concept of contemporary sculpture and
succeeding many productions in his field and with a lot of personal and mixed exhibitions in the nationwide and international
level, with his participation in the symposiums, and his sculpture projects.
