ÇaÄŸdaÅŸ Türk Heykel Sanatımızın son dönem yeteneklerinden Mustafa Bulat bu kitabında; Atatürk Üniversitesi’nde
akademisyenliÄŸe baÅŸladığı yıllardan bugüne kadar(1991 – 2012), kentimizde ve Anadolu’nun deÄŸiÅŸik kentlerinde üretmiÅŸ
olduÄŸu anıtsal yapıtlarına yer vermiÅŸtir. Bulat’ın evrensel nitelikteki çalışmaları soyut ve somut çaÄŸrışımların dansı gibidir
bir bakıma. Bu yapıtların arkasında, derinlikli bir tarihsel-kültürel birikimin önünde ÅŸimdiki zamanın tüm çaÄŸrışım ve ÅŸiddeti,
geleceÄŸinde ise, sonsuz bir çıkarsama ve yarattığı huzur saklıdır. Hayatın sıcak akışından doÄŸanın sırlarına, dinginliÄŸine ve
kaosuna uzanan temeller, onun ellerinde kontrol edilebilmiÅŸ bir biçim diline dönüÅŸür. Bulat’ın çalışmalarında yalnızca insan
ve insana ait biçim konuÅŸmaz, o tüm doÄŸayı kapsayan, varlığa, öze iliÅŸkin soyut göndermelere çalışmalarında ustaca yer
verir. Geometrik soyut imgelerde, klasik mimetik formlar yerine, kendi biçim dünyasını oluÅŸturan, kendi soyutlamalarını inÅŸa
eden bir evrendir onun sanatı.YaÅŸadığı Anadolu coÄŸrafyasının kültürel mirasını, dokusunu kimi zaman soyut kimi zaman
da somut bir yaklaşımla çalışmalarına yansıtan Bulat, bu çalışmaları evrensel bir perspektifte ele alarak insanlığın ortak
kültür mirasına sunmaktadır. BaÅŸarılarının devam edeceÄŸine dair inancımı bir kez daha belirtir, kendisini içtenlikle kutlarım.

In his book; Mustafa Bulat, one of the latest talented artists of our contemporary Turkish Sculpture Art, from the years on which
he started the academic education in Atatürk University until now (1991 – 2012), gives a place to his monumental works having
created in the various parts of Anatolia. The universal works of Bulat are, in fact, like the dance of the abstract and concrete
evocations. Behind these works, it is a secret side in front of the deep historical-cultural background of the present time
evocation and sharpness and in the future, an endless inference and the peace it has created. From the warm flowing to the
secrecy of the nature and to the basics lying to the serenity and chaos of the life turn into a controllable style language in his
hands. In the works of Bulat, it is not the only style belonging to humans speaking; he also skilfully gives a place covering the
whole nature, existence and the abstract references about the essence. Instead of the classical mimetic forms, in the geometric
abstract images, it is his own art which is a universe making up his style and building his abstractions. Bulat, reflecting a cultural
inheritance and pattern of Anatolian geography in which he has lived sometimes with an approach of abstract and sometimes
concrete on his works, presents these works of art in a universally perspective way into the common cultural inheritance of the
people. I would like to express my belief about the continuation of his success once again and I congratulate him sincerely.
